A metal structure was installed at a height of 3.20 metres to support both the lighting and the infrared heaters. This made it possible to position the panels exactly where they deliver the most effective and even heat distribution across the entire practice area.
The Infrared Heating Solution
The Sundirect IC900-Plus black infrared panel heaters were selected for their high output, sleek appearance, and ability to maintain high temperatures comfortably — ideal for hot yoga practice.
Mounted on the overhead metal structure, the heaters create a uniform radiant heat field, ensuring every spot in the 150 m² studio reaches the required 34°C. Unlike convection systems that heat the air and lose energy through circulation, infrared warmth is delivered directly to bodies, mats, and surfaces, creating a stable and enveloping heat ideal for intense yoga sessions.
Control and automation are handled by four Smart2.0 Pro WiFi thermostats. With these, the studio can:
